Are you looking for some spring break fun?! Joplin has all kinds of activities and adventures for you to explore while you are on break. Below we have compiled a list of activities to explore with the family!

Bluff Dwellers Cavern in Noel  ~ Bluff Dwellers’ Cavern is located in Noel, MO. The Cavern is opened daily (excluding Thanksgiving, and Christmas) with 30 minute tours. The cave has so many things for your and your family to explore, like the Musical Chimes, 10 Ton Balanced Rock, and the 75 Rimstone Dam.

Firehouse Pottery in Joplin ~ Firehouse Pottery is a family favorite in our area. You will get to pick your pottery, from mugs to holiday decore; there is something there for everyone! There is a studio fee, but that lets you use all the paints and detailed brushes to make your item come to life. It’s exciting to see your project once it’s been glazed an fired – You can typically pick up your item sometime the following week. {Don’t forget to check their Facebook page for Spring Break specials!}

George Washington Carver National Monument ~ George Washington Carver is a hidden highlight in Diamond, MO. Visit the hands on exhibits, and explore on the trails. When you visit don’t forget to ask about the PEEP Passport! {For added family fun bring a picnic lunch!}

Roller City of Joplin ~ Roller City provides the ultimate skating experience in Joplin! All week they will have deals, so make sure to check out their website! Roller City also has a pretty awesome indoor playground for those 56″ and under, and an arcade area for the big kids. Don’t forget the pickle slushie!!

Soar Trampoline Park ~ Jump! Jump! Jump! Soar Trampoline park provides an hour of flips, dodgeball, and skill. Try your best on the spin arm, or shoot hoops while jumping on the trampoline runner. This is the place to be this spring break!

Tilt Studio in Joplin ~ Come out to Tilt Studio with Laser Tag, Mini Bowling, and Black Light Mini-Golf! Stay updated on their Facebook page and Website for Spring Break deals!

All Aboard Ice Cream ~ We LOVE this little ice cream and burger place (Whistler’s burgers and Anderson’s Ice Cream to be exact). I love the twist to this new location, while keeping the heart of the business the same. Eating in the train car, young children riding the train ride, the search for the big castle way up high as we drive in, the Ding! Dong! of the bell – This is always on our list, no matter the time of the year.

Wildcat Glades & Audubon Center ~ Take the time to walk the trails, or try your hand at fishing at Wildcat!

House of Bounce in Joplin ~ Come bounce, and let the kids work out some energy this spring break at Joplin House of Bounce! It’s $4.00 for 3 and under; $7.50 for 4 and up; Parents are free! Don’t forget to check their Facebook page for some Spring Break specials, and Toddler Time!

Joplin Public Library ~ Grab some moms and kiddo’s and head to the library! It sounds almost like an oxymoron, but our children’s library is just for them! They have an awesome play area, fun learning games on the computers, and classes that let them wiggle and play! If you haven’t checked it out yet, make sure to add it to your list!

Southeast Kansas Nature Center ~ This hands on nature center is located right next to Schimmerhorn Park. Come out and explore, skip rocks, and play! While out, take a drive back in time to the Old Riverton Store and grab a bite to eat – Check out their website here: Old Riverton Store

Prairie State Park ~ Take a hike to find bison, and bring a packed lunch for later. Also check out their indoor Regal Tallgrass prairie Nature Center for some cool inter active exhibits.

Chert Glades Missouri Master Naturalist ~ Stay updated on fun outings like a spring celebration, bingo, and how to make a fire. These classes are a lot of fun and educational!

Amazeum ~ Amazeum is the place to be all year long but also check it out for fun spring break events! While there, you can also head over the Crystal Bridges for free and explore the rooms of art and walking trails in beautiful Arkansas.
