Carl Junction Parks:
Center Creek Park features the Bulldog Beach Pool, tennis and basketball courts, sand volleyball, picnic tables with shelters, and of course playground equipment for the kids. The park is very large, and is semi-wooded, which is great for a picnic. You can also fish from the banks of Center Creek, which is always a lot of fun!

Carthage Parks:
The Battle of Carthage was the earliest full-scale battle of the Civil War, preceding Bull Run by 11 days. Battle of Carthage State Historic Site contains a quiet meadow and the spring that made the area an encampment for both the Union and Confederate troops during the battle. The area is little changed in its appearance since the battle was fought on July 5, 1861. An interpretative kiosk explains the history of the battle

Municipal park has so many things to enjoy! There is a skating rink, swimming pool, tennis courts, playgrounds, Carthage Kiwanis, and scenic picnic shelters. The park also encompasses an 18 hole golf course. The park is very large, so you can easily fly a kite, play with a ball, or ride your bike!

Joplin Parks:
Cunningham Park has grills, picnick pavilion, 2 playground areas, basketball courts, a small waterfall with pond, and more. Cunningham park is a lot of fun for kids of all ages!

Ewert Park is featured with a playground, tennis courts, picnic pavilion, grills, and Ewert Aquatic Park next door.

Garvin Park is behind McDonal’s on Main Street, with an updated playground, and Gazebo.

Humphrey Park is a wonderful quiet park, with picnic tables, playground, and a large area great for bike riding, or throwing balls.

Landreth Park features an amphitheater, picnic pavilions, two playgrounds, walking trail, and more. This is a great park to spend the afternoon at!

McClelland Park is popular with Disc Golf, and also has a wonderful playground, grills, and a very opened area.

Parr Hill Park has been updated with new playgrounds, a dog park, and in the summer months you can play on the Splash Pad.

Schifferdecker Park has 2 parks, with a skate board ramp. There is also a gazebo, picnic tables, and features Schifferdecker Aquatic Center

Will Norton Maricle Field is a great park for a child with special needs. The playground is big enough for wheel chairs, and full support swings. The park is also great for sensory needs. The park also offers sport teams for those with special needs, and it’s a great program!

Neosho Parks:
Big Spring Park is a beautiful park with a huge children’s wading pool, playground, and gardens. You can also feed the ducks and fish, during the warmer months.

Morse Park has something for everyone. Ball fields, playgrounds, gardens, rental pavilion and great fishing!

Webb City Parks:
King Jack Park is the home of the Webb City Farmers Market, and the street car rides. Further back, there is a park, two fishing lakes, and walking trail with a beatiful bridge to walk over Paradise Lake.

Memorial park was first a reflective park where the memories of those Webb City veterans who lost their lives in World War I could be honored and cherished by the entire community. Since then, the Memorial board has been updated to include more of our fallen. Today, in addition to the Veterans Memorial, there is a playground, swing sets, basketball court, and picnic tables.

Hall Street Park has been renovated in 2012, with two playgrounds, new picnic tables, swings, basketball court, and half-pipe skate-board ramp.

Sunset Creek Park is a newer park, with playground, and tennis courts. There is plenty of room to run around, and have a picnic.

Hatten Park features a family-size pavilion, two playgrounds, picnic tables, and several basketball goals. The Webb City Parks & Recreation Department has scheduled a park-wide restoration beginning in the fall of 2014. The project will be focused on restoring, as much as is practical, Hatten Park to its original WPA appearance of the 1930’s.
